This is a very good product and it works very well in my fish tank

We recently bought some shrimp to help clean the tank and add to our fish population, but some of thr shrimp were extremely tiny (when we got them). In order to stop the tiny shrimp from even possibly being sucked up by the filter straw, we were recommended to get this pre-filter. Not only are the shrimp safe, but the water is better because the filter is cleaner too.

Just started using these. They do seem to cut down on “pond smell” in my tank. But I haven’t had them in long enough to see how it is performing.

Bought this a couple weeks ago. Work great in small hob filters for 10 gal tanks. Only complaint is they are not all cut symmetrical so a couple aren't exactly square.
