My betta never hesitates to eat these pellets, I could drop it anywhere in his 5.5 gallon tank and he'll find it. He still had pretty vibrant color (red) when I got him but hopefully this helps keep his color.

My betta does not like this. Pellets are way too big and even when I crush the pellets into bite sizes, he just takes a bite and spits it out. I’ll have to find something else that he likes for daily feeding and supplement with brine and worm treats.

So these are not the worst pellets, but i will not purchase again. I mean if you're looking for nutrition these are not it. They have too many fillers and they made one of my betta bloated every time. I have two betta fish. On the plus side they both liked the taste. Another bad thing would be the size. Some pellets are just too big and must be crushed. So what I did was pour the pellets onto the cap and picked out only the smaller pellets to feed. So if you do go with these just rotate them throughout the week with other foods.

Pellets are much too large! Also causing my tank to cloud and turn green very quickly. I tried to crush, but pellets too hard. Previous bottle purchased last year was fine. Company must have changed the formula. Will throw away and purchase another product.

I am new to having a betta fish, but I was surprised at the recommendation to feed him 2 to 3 times a day. That seems like too much.

It's not! Bettas should be fed 2 pellets 3 times a day or 3 pellets 2 times a day. Do not worry about hurting your betta, if your fish seems bloated or constipated you can always feed them less.
