Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise these test strips as essential for maintaining healthy aquarium water, highlighting their simplicity and speed as primary strengths. Most users appreciate the quick dip-and-read method that delivers results in minutes without complex procedures, and many rely on them for routine monitoring across freshwater and saltwater tanks. Reviewers consistently report using the strips for months with confidence, crediting them with identifying water issues before they harm fish. A small number of experienced users compare them less favorably to liquid test kits, preferring those for greater precision, though most find the strips sufficiently accurate for regular checks. Overall, customers consider them a convenient, trustworthy tool for responsible aquarium maintenance.

Don’t buy this. It’s highly inaccurate. Buy the master test kit instead.

Can the API 5 in 1 Aquarium Test Strips 25 ct also be used to test pond water?
- Dear Staff, Ponds are simply large outdoor freshwater aquariums. Surely these are appropriate. Please provide some science to support your opinion of the difference between measuring the pH of an outdoor pond and an indoor pond in a glass box...
