Description

Amoxi-Tabs (amoxicillin tablets) is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic for a wide range of common bacterial infections in dogs and cats. It's used to treat certain strains of respiratory, urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, and skin infections such as lacerations, wounds, and abscesses. Amoxi-Tabs come in five different strengths as a film-coated tablet. It's rapidly absorbed and diffused after dosing. It can be given with or without food and is available by prescription from your vet.

• - The following drugs* may have potential interactions with this medication: allopurinol, methotrexate, mycophenolate, and warfarin. *NOTE: This may not be a comprehensive list. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when multiple medications and/or supplements are given together
• - As with all drugs, side effects may occur; the most common side effects of this medication are vomiting, diarrhea, and decreased appetite. These symptoms may improve over the course of treatment
• - Do not administer Amoxi-Tabs to animals with a known or suspected allergy/hypersensitivity to amoxicillin or any other beta-lactam antibiotic (e.g., penicillin, aminopenicillins, cephalosporins). Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Please inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known sensitivities or allergies, especially to medications and supplements
