Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this wet dog food for exceptional palatability, with nearly all reviewers noting their dogs eagerly devour it—even picky eaters who typically refuse other foods. Many observe significant improvements in energy, coat condition, digestion, and mealtime enthusiasm. Reviewers deeply value the high-quality, recognizable ingredients and appreciate the absence of fillers. Several note improved digestion and firmer stools. A very small number mention the price as a barrier for larger dogs or prefer different oil formulations, but these concerns are rare. Overall, customers enthusiastically recommend this food.

Both my Chiuaua and MinPin got sick for 3 days now. Third dog that did not eat it is fine. Diarrhea now has blood in it. Stay away from Acana.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I tried a can of the poultry pate and my dog loved it.

I’ve been feeding the chicken Premium Pate as a supplement to the Acana Wholesome grains Chicken dry food for about 6 mos now and my 10 yr old, 18 lb mix breed absolutely loves them both! Stools are less mushy and he licks his bowl clean every meal! The ONLY thing I’d like to see changed in Acana’s dog food is the use of Sunflower oil in some of their foods instead of fish oil in others. As a result of not wanting the plant-based seed oil, I’ve been limited in my choice of canned flavors and have been forced to choose Merrick brand for the flavor variety I’m looking for. Overall though, I really like Acana brand for their dedication to providing very high quality ingredients for our pets and will continue to buy them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Acana poultry with bone broth pate to try out and see if my dogs liked it, I usually add a wet food and some fresh ingredients to my dogs kibble to add variety. This food is really nice it smells like a meal I’d cook for myself almost like a chicken casserole or a chicken soup maybe smell it smells nice is nutritional and adds that extra my dogs need. I have 2 dogs opposite ends of the size weight spectrum one is a Jack Russel little guy high energy grumpy sometimes lol my other one is a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescued from being killed bc she didn’t have to ridge of fur, also high energy. The little dog weighs about 8-12 pounds he’s fit and lean and muscular, the picture of a perfect Jack Russel, my Rhodesian she’s perfect hits the right markers to she’s 2 yrs old weighs about 85 lbs is HUGE, very defined muscular, she is extremely high energy bc of activity levels req’d to keep their minds stimulated a high protein diet is a must. This is it, I highly recommend Acana!
