Is it normal for my rabbit to pass out after running in its cage?

Hello, sorry to hear about Binky. There could be a variety of reasons why he is doing this. My biggest concern is that he could have an underlying heart disease or an upper respiratory infection. Binky should be evaluated by a veterinarian to make sure that he does not have the above conditions. He may require chest x-rays and bloodwork. Hope this helps and best of luck.

If you believe that Boston Bunnelby may have been injured by his cage, I recommend bringing him to your veterinarian. He/she can perform a full physical exam and look for evidence of soft tissue or skeletal injury and treat accordingly, if needed. If he is otherwise moving around as usual and acting normally (eating, drinking, urinating, defecating) normally, I would not be concerned. I hope this is helpful!

If Louie is not acting like himself, I recommend having him seen by a vet as soon as possible. If he has resumed normal behavior, you can monitor him at home to make sure he continues eating, drinking, and having normal bowel movements. I recommend filming the behavior of you are able to in case Louie continues doing it and I would be happy to take a look.

Not sure on the age of your rabbits, but they have a high incidence of uterine cancer by the age of three, therefore need to be spayed. Is she is just resting outside, that might not be a problem, she could just be scared. If you noticed continued problems, a veterinary visit is recommended. Good luck.

Thanks for reaching out about Snowball. This is mildly worrisome and a veterinary visit is a good idea to assess. Arthritis or spondylosis can make it difficult to stand quickly. Encephalitozoon cuniculi is a parasitic infestation common in outdoor rabbits and can lead to some neurologic problems. Metabolic disorders can also lead to lethargy. Continue to monitor for water and food intake. Good luck.

Shaking all the time as in shivering or tremoring is not normal and may indicate Fitz is stress or there is something underlying. If moving him to a calm, quiet place doesn't resolve the issue, a vet visit to rule out any health problems is best.

There is definitely something wrong with him, in most cases when a rabbit shows such symptoms quite suddenly it is because of gut stasis, but it could also be other things. you must take him to the vet ASAP, he will need a checkup and a simple blood test to check for stasis/blockage then he can get the proper treatment.
