Why is my baby bunny squirming and moving its neck? Is it sick?

Updated on September 23, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed

A friend of mine has a bunny who recently had two babies. One of them keeps moving its neck and squirming and she does not know what's wrong and can't afford to see a vet.

I am sorry the above question does not really provide a great amount of information and makes it difficult to provide you an answer. IF the bunny is just moving this can be normal. Even as small bunnies they will move around and stretch. However if the bunny is not eating, drinking or moving normally it needs to see a vet. I would be concerned about infection and parasites. IT would be best for them to see a vet. hope Gucci feels better soon
