Uses

How it works

Permethrin interferes with the nervous system of the flea or tick paralyzing and killing it. The topical spot-on is absorbed through the skin and secreted back out through the glands of the skin over time (up to 4 weeks).

Dosage

Dogs: 42.5 - 86 milligrams per kilogram topically every 30 days. Apply according to manufacturer's recommendations. The product must be placed on the skin for it to be effective. Avoid superficial application to the hair and do not apply to broken skin. Repeat monthly.

Forms

Topical oil (spot-on) in varying concentrations depending on manufacturer.

Store at room temperature in original container, out of reach of children and animals.
