My puppy is vomiting, not eating, and has bubbly urine. What's wrong?

So sorry to hear that Bubu is not feeling well! Puppies are very prone to intestinal parasites, and depending on which vaccines they have received, viral infections such as parvovirus. Bubu may have also eaten something he should not have which has blocked his intestinal tract or was toxic. He should be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible as he is likely to become dehydrated very quickly as he loses fluids from vomiting and having diarrhea and not eating/drinking. His veterinarian will likely need to run some tests including blood work, a fecal exam, and take x-rays to determine the cause and prescribe medication to treat the condition. The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Kagome evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. Poor girl. Unfortunately her symptoms are very non-specific towards one disease process or another. They are very vague indeed. It sounds like she is having decreased appetite and lethargy. I would have her examined by your vet to gather more clues about her condition. Her vitals need to be checked and she may need additional testing like a fecal exam or bloodwork to get to the underlying problem. This can be due to any number of causes such as stress, a diet change, eating something that didn't agree with him or an intestinal infection. It sounds as Japjap is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet urgently, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

It sounds like the puppy may have an infection of the urinary tract. He could have a fever which is making him sick or concurrent gastroenteritis. Either way he needs to see a vet if he is vomiting and urinating blood.

Chronic vomiting, has multiple causes but may cause an electrolyte imbalance which could account for the symptoms you are seeing. If he is drinking more water than usual, he should be seen by your vet for an exam and bloodwork to rule out kidney disease, diabetes or other GI issues. When a pet is vomiting, withhold food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet (1:1 ratio of plain boiled boneless chicken and plain white rice). Feed in small, frequent amounts waiting at least one hour between feedings. If he won't eat, serve the food warm or mix in a teaspoon of baby food to stimulate the appetite. If the vomiting stops, transition slowly to the regular diet. If not or if the appetite does not return, then you will need to see your veterinarian.
