My puppy's 5-in-1 shot didn't fully go in. Is she still protected?

The Vet can go over her vaccine schedule, get her started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention and discuss having her spayed. I hope this helps and I wish you all the best!

I would recommend to test Luna again for Parvo but hopefully it is giardia, worms or bacterial over growth. Luna's vaccines do give her protection but she will need 1 more round done 2-4 weeks after the last vaccine. We finish the vaccine series at 4 months old as that is when the puppy's immune system is fully mature. Get her in to the vet today and have her checked. Best of luck. I hope this is helpful. In theory, she has not mount a response to her vaccines yet so she can still get infected with like parvovirus if those feces were infected with parvovirus. However, that is very unlikely so I would not worry about that too much as the chance of that is very small. Good luck and have a great day! She is likely going to be just fine.

So if Belle got the 6 in 1 around 12 weeks then 3-4 weeks later she should get her last one that expires in 1 year. I hope this helps and I wish you and Belle the best!

Raven is a cutie! It sounds like you are taking the appropriate precautions which is good. Her final set of vaccines will happen between 16 - 18 weeks of age. At her next appointment, discuss the vaccine schedule with her doctor. Vaccines take about a week to take effect and she will not be fully protected until after the last set. Collect the vomit in a baggie and call the vet tomorrow. They may want to see her or they may recommend and drop it off to have them examine it. Puppies can vomit up rounds worms which dewormers are highly effective against. I hope this helps!
