Is Fresubin Energy Fibre human food harmful for my puppy to eat?

I don't think there's any harm in that. Just check the back of the package and look for an ingredient called Xylitol. That substance is toxic to dogs and is used in many foods as a sweetener. In general, always check products for Xylitol, garlic, onions, grapes, macadamia nuts, raisins or chocolate as these are toxic to dogs. Some dogs fed from the table begun to refuse to eat their regular dog food, which is nutritionally balanced for them (while table food is not). I strongly recommend starting her on a probiotic/fiber supplement such as fortifolora and a bland, low fat diet for the next 48hours and this should resolve now that the offending food has been withdrawn. Ensure to keep pups up to date with deworming treatments also as internal parasites can contribute to diarrhea

Yes it is okay to give a cold meal to a new puppy. I would recommend trying to slowly remove the human food and increase the kibble. At such a young age bongo can remember the human food and feeding him this type of food could make his very stubborn as he ages with his eating. Hope that helps

Hello. An adult dog should not need an additional source of protein if they are eating a balanced dog food well. But I see no harm in sprinkling a small amount on the food to enhance the flavor.or as a treat. You could use a teaspoon daily unless your pet is underweight or recovering from illness or injury.
