My puppy was dewormed, but I don't see worms. Is that normal?

Updated on September 23, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 2 months and 7 days old

I dewormed my puppy at 6 weeks and 8 weeks using a 4 way dewormer and he has never expelled any worms or rice like specks that I have noticed should I be concerned?

As long as Odin appears happy and healthy, this is nothing to be worried about. Puppies are routinely dewormed several times to be safe.

She could be but it's still possible she has worms. A negative fecal does not ensure they are 100% worm free. It is still recommend to have 2 more dewormings prior to 6 months of age. Pets can give people worms so it's very important to keep up with the basic standard of care. It will not hurt her to have the dewormings. I hope this helps.
