Are there organizations that help with spay costs for foster dogs?

I am not sure where you live but you could search for some animal rescues in your area and contact them. They may have a way to help trap her and get her fixed and provide medical care. Depending on her temperment, they may be able to work with her and place her in a home.

The cervix may have closed making it a "closed pyometra" in which case they get more sick. She could also have septicemia where the bacteria is now in her bloodstream. Please take her for help. This is not likely something that is going to go away with amoxicillin. There are plenty of low cost spay/neuter clinics that will do surgery on a pyometra. There are also plenty of organization that offer financial help to people that need to pay vet bills. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! PetCo doesn't offer surgeries or see sick animals. PetCo's that offer veterinary services (VetCo) are for wellness and vaccinations only. I would check out the SPCA for low cost pay and neuter events. For other financial assistance: Care Credit (carecredit.com) can provide financing options. There are also many non-profit organizations that can provide financial assistance for animals. redrover.org humansociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html?credit=web_id91754962 bestfriends.org/resources/financial-aid-pets lessonsfromaparalyzeddog.com/when-pet-owners-cant-afford-veterinary-bills/ getyourpet, com

I'm sorry but it looks like your question got cut off. I'm not sure if I will be actually answering you correctly. If not, please post again with more information and photos of your pet's skin if you would like some product recommendations. Petco offers low cost vaccination, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, nail clipping, etc. through their weekend VETCO clinics inside their stores. It doesn't appear that there are any close to you though - the closest one is about 40 miles away. If you are willing to drive this may be your least expensive option. They do not charge an exam fee. Tractor Supply also has a similar program. ( https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/?zip=66095 ) ( https://petvet.vippetcare.com/find-a-clinic/ ) I found this housecall vet in your area. You can certainly contact them to check their pricing: ( http://vetsonwheels.website/mobile-vet-services-in-williamsburg-ks-we-come-to-you-in-kansas.html ) This is a link with resources for people that need help with vet bills. Scroll down as there are some Kansas specific organizations. ( https://www.dogingtonpost.com/need-help-with-vet-bills-or-pet-food-there-are-resources-available/ ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

I hate to hear that Leah is so sick. A pyometra is a serious medical condition. Unfortunately, we cannot give accurate estimates. Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach is an online group of veterinarians with only one physical location in California. Cost varies based upon where you live, how sick Leah is prior to surgery and how long it will take to have the procedure preformed. You would need to call around to local clinics to ask about discounts/vouchers. You may also look into financing through Care Credit or Scratch Pay. Lastly, you may call the local humane society to ask if they offer/know of any low cost solutions. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

That is about the average to get a puppy Miami's sized spayed. I can give you a link to find a low cost clinic in your area, but I think those prices you were quoted are reasonable and fair for a spay :-) http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html?credit=web_id91754962

A veterinarian will likely be able to tell you how old she is. I am attaching prices for VetCo locations for vaccinations, so you have some ideas about pricing. https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/vaccination-packages-and-prices/ And here is a link to the locations and schedules. https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/ Unfortunately, there are not very many organizations that will help with routine wellness care, so you may consider applying for CareCredit ( https://www.carecredit.com/ ) which often gives you a period of time without any payment or interest. I would also check with your local animal shelter or animal control. They will likely offer reduced prices for vaccination services and may also be able to help you get her spayed for a discounted price. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.
