Is it good to leave music or radio on for my dog when I'm out?

Dogs hear just like we do (actually more sensitively than we do), so louder, more aggressive music may excite them more, whereas softer, more soothing music may cause them to be more relaxed. These ani.als on the screen are not perceived as large to an animal when on the screen. The noises may create stress so a show with no animal noises may be more cat friendly. Taking them for a walk or run before you leave so they are tired will help. Also play classical music which helps them to relax and will diminish the outside noises. They're adorable! Leaving them in a smaller room with music on or a TV will help. Start leaving them for short times before you go back to work to get them used to being alone. Ignore them some of the time when you are home and don't make a big deal about your coming and going. You may consider having someone come in for a while at lunch to take them out and play with them for a few minutes.
