My pug has yellow gums, drinks a lot, high liver. Time to put down?

There are many liver conditions that can lead to these signs such as infection, inflammation, gall stones, or cancer. If possible I would strongly urge you to have Pogo seen by a veterinarian that can perform an abdominal ultrasound. Possible causes of vomiting and pale gums includes intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, among a few others. After examination, the vet may recommend bloodwork, viral testing for parvo virus, or x-rays to look for an intestinal blockage.

This is a very valid question and it is important to consider his overall wellbeing and comfort above and beyond prolonging the length of his life. I'm sorry Cumbia isn't doing well. Yes, it may be that putting her to sleep is best for her. Unfortunately dogs do reach a point where treatment won't help, and her vet may advise you that this is the best option for her. It's not easy at all, and I'm sorry you are facing this decision.

While these are vague clinical signs, these may be due to some sort of underlying disease of either the gastrointestinal tract, liver or kidney disease, and/or a possible neoplastic or cancerous process. Since he has had a decreased appetite long enough to lose weight, I recommend having him evaluated by your veterinarian at their next available appointment. Your vet can perform bloodwork to look for any evidence of systemic illness that may be contributing to his clinical signs. His clinical signs are unlikely due to behavioral changes alone.
