My dog is weak, struggling to stand, and at the vet. Will she be okay?

I am so very sorry to hear about your dog. Based on your photos she looks severely emaciated and dehydrated, and possibly anemic (I can see her third eyelid in one photo and it looks quite pale). The possible causes are many and could include severe parasitism, infectious disease, autoimmune disease, organ failure, cancer, toxin exposure. Your dog needs veterinary attention right away if she is to survive, or to help her pass peacefully if you are unable to provide care for her. It sounds like she is suffering and she needs to be examined by a vet and have some testing done (such as stool testing and bloodwork to start) to try to determine why she is so ill. Yes, it was the right decision, without taking him to the vet he would have zero chance to survive, now at least he stands a fighting chance. he is very young so overall i would say his chances are not very good, but you never know, with the correct treatment he might perk back up and survive this.

I would recommend bringing her to a veterinarian right away. I am unsure how long she was out but her behavior is very abnormal for her age. I am worried that she ingested something toxic or was traumatically injured. It is hard for me to discern without a physical exam but I would recommend an exam, some bloodwork and maybe even some radiographs depending.

Good on you for taking Blessy into a vet right away. She will be lethargic from the vomiting and diarrhea. She sounds pretty sick, keep an eye on her for now. If you are concerned she is very weak, have her seen by a vet again today.

For example, this can go from just her being really tired to her being ill. Some things that can cause weakness include anemia, inflammatory conditions, among other possibilities. If she is otherwise doing well (eating and drinking well, etc) I recommend that you continue to watch her closely. If this behavior continues by tomorrow, have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. If she worsens tonight then definitely have her examined before. Good luck! I'm really worried about Jimmy being so weak and unable to stand, especially being pregnant, and I'm worried about the blood coming from her mouth. She may not be eating enough to sustain her energy demands, or her electrolytes could be abnormal and need supplementation. She should absolutely be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. On your way there, you can rub Karo syrup or something with a high sugar content on her gums to help increase her blood sugar in case that is low. If she doesn't get medical attention, she and/or her puppies could die. I hope this is helpful.

Hello. I wish I could promise you that everything will be OK, but nothing in life is guaranteed. Sucrafil is sucralfate, a common medication that coats the stomach to either prevent or treat ulcers. It should make Chucky feel better. If she is in the hospital & receiving around the clock care, then she is probably in very good hands. Waiting to see if she will survive this infection is sometimes the hardest thing to do, but it does take time for infections to go away.
