Why is my dog vomiting regularly for no apparent reason? What to do?

Poor baby. With that amount of vomiting, I'd recommend a vet visit right away for an exam, x-rays, and possible blood work. It could be something as simple as a intestinal bug, or something much more serious like eating a foreign object. Good luck!

They may need to take an X-ray to look for an obstruction or test him for parvovirus. I am concerned he is vomiting because he can dehydrate quickly. I can tell you that he needs to be seen by your vet at this time. Multiple episodes of vomiting in a short period of time can be a sign of something serious underlying. There are lots of things that could cause vomiting and diarrhea in a dog, including dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. If it persists for 24 hours or if Oscar seems lethargic, I would recommend having him seen by a vet where you are vacationing.
