Dog throws up water. How to find an affordable vet for my dog?

Offer very small amounts of food and water today. If he can eat it and it stays down wait a couple of hours and repeat. If he is painful in his belly, looks bloated or continues to vomit this may be severe and you need to figure out how to get him to the vet.

If he keeps it down, you can offer more water and small amount of bland food (cooked chicken or other lean meat) in the next 1-2hrs. If he is taking the food and keeping all down you should give him more every 2-3hrs. However, if Chapo continues to vomit, you should take him to your local vets for an appointment today. Vomiting in otherwise healthy dog is usually caused by stomach upset from gastrointestinal infection, inflamed pancreas, abdominal pain.

If she is vomiting she will need to see a vet ASAP, Pedialyte can only help if the vomiting stops and for that she will need an anti vomiting injection. costs varies from a vet clinic to another, you could expect anything between 70-200$.

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. I'm so sorry to hear that Boomer is sick! It is very concerning that Boomer is throwing up everything including water. The vomit being coffee colored makes me concerned about a GI ulcer or serious GI bleed. This can occur secondary to toxin ingestion, kidney failure, or overdoses of some medications. I strongly suggest you take Boomer to an emergency veterinarian so he can be examined and supportive care can be started. He will likely need blood work to determine what the underlying cause. Unfortunately without emergency care Boomer is at risk of becoming dehydrated and the illness worsening. You can try a bland meal of boiled chicken and rice however I don't think this will resolve the issue so I'd still encourage you to seek veterinary care for Boomer as soon as possible.
