My dog is throwing up, shaking, and has cold paws and a fever.

I can certainly see how this would be very alarming to witness. The symptoms you describe may be related to a disease process affecting an organ system (more often the neurologic (seizure event) or cardiac (heart event) systems). What i would recommend is a visit to your family veterinarian for a physical exam, to discuss the events, and to discuss additional testing (like bloodwork to rule out organ changes). It is also extremely helpful to get a video of an event so that your vet can watch it. Also, given the age of your pup, make sure there is nothing new in the environment that he could be snacking on that may be toxic to dogs (plants, etc.). I'm so sorry your pet is so ill. It sounds like Holly may have an infection. Bacterial infection causes pet to shake and be uncomfortable, they are also lethargic not eating and have a fever. You can certainly check her rectal temperature and if it is above 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit, then an infection is likely and she needs to see a vet. I see she isn't spayed so it is very likely she has an infection of her uterus (pyometra) which can happen at any time and can be life threatening if not treated quickly. I would recommend taking Pups to the vet. These symptoms are very concerning, and probably not related to her mammary nodule. It could be dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. The straining and liquid is likely severe diarrhea - similar to humans, you can strain with diarrhea and have nothing come out. The vet will do a thorough exam and may recommend blood work or x-rays to determine what is going on.

Yes, it sounds like Wonder is painful (shaking), and not herself due to the vomiting. She may also have a fever which could make her lethargic. She is a young dog so most likely she has a stomach upset from something she ate. If she can't hold anything down you should take her to your veterinarian for treatment. She could have eaten something bad, or have something caught in her stomach or intestines. They will do an exam then most likely blood work and an X-ray if needed to find the specific reason she is sick. Then they can prescribe the appropriate treatment. This is a fairly common reason dogs get sick and usually they improve quickly.
