Updated on September 23, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Tibetan Mastiff | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 11 months old | 120 lbs

I have a 6 year old Tibetan Mastiff that is on a raw diet and has developed a constant eye discharge in both eyes that is very thick mucous like that gets crusty if I do not wash it twice a day. I tried Terramycin with no improvement

Terramycin does not always work for eye infections in dogs, although it might also be an allergy or an autoimmune disease. I would strongly recommend taking Angus to the vet in order to get it checked, eye problems are not something you want to neglect as permanent eye damage can happen at any time.
