It's probably an allergic reaction to either an insect, something in the environment or something he ingested. if it seems to just be getting worse you need to take him to the vet right now in order to get a steroid injection.

This is probably an allergic reaction due to an insect bite or a plant outside. those reactions tend to resolve within 48 hours without treatment. if the swelling becomes too large or if your dog is lethargic, take her to the vet in order to get an antihistamine injection.

The photos are very poor. I can't really see what is going on. Can you post again with photos taken with dog outside in the sunlight? You would treat hives with an anti-histamine drug but I don't know what types you have available in your country so it is hard for me to give you advice.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think you should find a low cost clinic that is part of an SPCA. Maxi really needs to see a Vet for steroids. If benadryl isn't working she need more. I am sorry you are going through this but she will be fine in the end. Steroids are inexpensive and most exam fees are $50. It may only cost $75-90. It sounds like Freya is having an allergic reaction, and the problem with the ones that happen on a dog's face is that their face can swell to a point where they start having breathing difficulties. She does have to see a vet right away, she will need either antihistamines or steroids to stop the reaction.
