This is a two-person job where someone holds the mouth open while you look with the flashlight. Many times, we can narrow-down the problem with a simple exam and offer treatment options. The ears and feet being warm may, or may not indicate some inflammation. Dogs sweat by panting, through exchange in their paws, and through exchange in their armpits and inguinal area. It may also be she likes the vibration and noise when the air is on. As long as shes eating, drinking, playing hard, sleeping hard, and not vomiting or having diarrhea, she should be good. This may seem like an odd behavior but I bet it is just comforting to her. If you are concerned about something stuck in Doggo's throat, I would have him examined by your veterinarian to appropriately identify the cause of the symptoms. If you are unable to get to your vet right away, I would maybe offer soft food on the off chance this is irritation in the throat from something Doggo swallowed. Soft food would be much easier than hard food to swallow. An examination will help identify any obvious object lodged in the mouth or throat. Poor Toby - you should video the episodes and get him checked by your vet as soon as possible. This may be due to excess soft tissue in his throat, a weak trachea, narrow nostrils or an infection and fluid in the back of his throat to mention just a few options - sedation and xrays may be required depending on the results of the initial exam
