As long as Simba is eating and drinking, and the cyst isn't bleeding, he isn't in grave danger. He could be lazy due to the heat. I'd keep an eye on him and get him into the vet when you can. I hope this helps.

You can try and place a cold compress on the area for 2-3 minutes several times a day to see if this helps and lightly massage the area to see if this gets the swelling down. You can also try an anti-inflammatory for dogs, which can be found at your local pet store. I would recommend Well and Good Buffered Aspirin, which can be found at PetCo. If there is no improvement or the swelling increases, I would recommend having Lilly examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. If you knew for sure 100% that this was a salivary gland issue, waiting until the morning would be ok. But because the cause is not known, I would recommend getting this looked at sooner. Looking at the pictures, I don't think Abby has a cyst, I'm afraid she has a mammary tumor. With mammary tumors, 50% of them are malignant. You will have to take her into a vet to get this examined and treated. Please, take Martha to your local vets to confirm the diagnosis and to start treatment for her. If it is an abscess, Martha will need a course of antibiotics and possibly lancing of the abscess. If it is salivary gland cyst, your vet will likely recommend surgery as conservative treatment for salivary cysts does not provide satisfactory results.

No, I would not give Jacks amoxicillin. It is never recommended to self treat your animals, as you can accidentally do great harm to them. Cysts are not pockets of infections, and antibiotics are not used to treat them. It could be that the cyst somehow opened up and drained, and infection entered the area leading it to be red and hot to the touch, but without seeing it in person, I can't say this for certain. I would have Jacks seen by a vet for this cyst. The vet can drain it sterilely, may removed it surgically if there is a concern it could reoccur, and can give any other treatment needed. I would take him into the vet today or first thing Monday.

The best way to clean a mass that ruptures is with Betadine diluted 50:50 with warm water or with Chlorhexidine solution 3% diluted.
