I am picking up a dog that has been diagnosed with ringworm. She has started treatment. Should I cover the spot to reduce risk of spreading to family and other dogs?

There is no good way to cover the spot and leaving it open is the best. It is best to continue her treatment and give her a bath every week. Limit the contact with your other animals and wash regularly after contact.
