Can my dog eat raw eggs or sugar cubes for a healthy, shiny coat?

No on the raw eggs. Just like people are not supposed to eat raw eggs. The chances of contracting Salmonella bacteria is very high and that can kill your dog. Not worth it. You can give him cooked eggs if you'd like (no butter, oil or spices). There is really no benefit; it would just be for a treat. All high quality, premium dog foods are balanced (look for the AAFCO statement on the bag) and you really don't need to give extra supplements unless your vet says your dog needs it for some underlying condition. Just feed Diesel a high quality diet like Royal Canin and he will have everything he needs.

Yes, but it is not good to feed it raw. Raw eggs can carry salmonella bacteria which can make him very sick and he can even die from it. Raw eggs also contain an enzyme that hinders absorption of vitamin B. It is better to feed eggs scrambled or hard boiled. Eggs can be a great supplement to a dogs diet but the whites should always be cooked as there is a substance in them which can inctivate biotin, an important b vitamin. Egg shells can be a good source of minerals such as calcium but I would recommend no more than one shell daily and to ensure it is well broken up so the sharp edges do not cause injury

The yolk is fatty however, so you need to watch how many calories of dog food you are feeding so Peanut doesn’t become overweight. Also, if you are feeding a high quality dog food (like Hills, Purina One, Royal Canin, or Iams) you shouldn’t need to add eggs. Good luck and kisses to Peanut!

Eggs are a highly nutritious snack but should not be fed raw regularly as there is avidin in them which binds with biotin, an important vitamin. Whitening the egg with boiling water or cooking is preferred

It is difficult to tell from the photos but those just look like scabs/injuries. I would not be concerned about them at this stage.
