Dog panting, lethargic, shaking after moving. Stress or health issue?

These can be symptoms of many serious medical issues, anxiety, fear, pain, neurologic disease, infection, etc. I would recommend that you have him checked out by a vet to see what could be going on. After a thorough physical exam and discussion of his recent history, the vet may recommend diagnostics, such as blood work, x-rays, ultrasound, etc. to diagnose the cause.

Poor guy. Unfortunately, lethargy and shaking can be caused by a number of conditions including: toxin ingestion, severe anemia, sepsis (infection in the bloodstream), an electrolyte imbalance, or a neurological condition just to name a few. If Rocky is acating abnormal in this way and doesn't seem to be snapping out of it for more than 30 mins or so, then its best to take him to your local ER vet for further evaluation. Please also check his gum color to ensure they are still nice and pink. Pale gums are cause for an immediate vet visit wtihout waiting for the pet to improve. These symptoms could be caused by a range of issues, including musculoskeletal pain, heart or lung disease, abdominal pain, heat stress or heat stroke, anxiety, impending seizures, etc. I would recommend that you keep a close eye on Bailey for the next 12-24 hours. If he develops additional symptoms, he should be checked out by a vet immediately. If he is just not back to normal within 24 hours, he should also see a vet.

Poor Rocky! Yes, I would take him into a vet as being in pain isn't normal for a dog of any age. Especially since he has been in pain for a couple of days, this is something that needs to be seen right away. It could be he was injured playing with your other dog, but there could be another problem causing his pain such as pancreatitis or a prostate problem. Please take him into a vet right away.

Sounds like Kringle is in some level of distress. Whether or not it is manifesting from pain or true cardiopulmonary pathology is unclear. He should be taken into your veterinarian and examined soon. If you feel he is having any difficulty breathing, which generally does sound like the description you are offering, he should be seen on an emergency basis. The doctors will want to x-ray the chest to assess the presence of a respiratory infection, or a primary cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary disease process. Hope this makes sense.

Sounds like Kaden has a pretty significant anxiety disorder. I suggest you speak to your vet about what treatments are available. Often times older dogs will change and start exhibiting behavior like this when their eyesight and/or hearing starts to get poor. That may be the problem. I don't know.
