Both my dogs are panting, constipated, whining, and won't drink. Help!

An upper respiratory tract infection is usually indicated by coughing, sneezing, eye and/or nose discharge and bringing up white foamy material. The diarrhea may or may not be related. They will need to see their veterinarian if their symptoms persist. A lot of times an antibiotic will be prescribed. In the meantime, encourage them to continue drinking so that they do not become dehydrated. It is generally safe to hold a dog off of food for 18-24 hours to rest the GI tract. Hi Nick! I would definitely take them both into a vet now. It's quite concerning your dog has been throwing up and is lethargic for two days, and now has diarrhea and no appetite. It sounds as Bandit is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Poor girl. I think at this point (>24 hrs of being ill) because she isn't getting any better you should consider taking her in to your vet. This may just still be a really upset stomach, but she needs to see your vet and have her vitals and physical exam done to determine if she should have further testing done to look for other possible causes (i.e. liver, kidney disease) for her illness.
