My dog hasn't eaten/drunk in 24 hrs, stomach rumbling. What to do?

The lack of drinking concerns me as that can easily lead to dehydration. I recommend that you have Blu evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I'm sorry to hear Zeus isn't feeling well. Not eating for a day and not drinking does concern me, and I would have him evaluated by a veterinarian. He could be having GI upset, but with large breed dogs there is a concern for a "bloat" situation, when the stomach actually twists in the abdomen and requires emergency surgery, as it is life threatening. In order to ensure it isn't something serious, or if he needs any treatment to get him feeling better, I would have him seen. Good luck!

If Ruckis is still having this issue then I recommend a visit with your veterinarian to make sure he doesn't have an intestinal upset. If your dog hasn't eaten in a week, there is something very gravely wrong with him and he needs to see a vet right away. He may have an infection, or cancer, or have swallowed something stuck in his gastrointestinal tract, or any number of serious things going on. You need to take him in to see a vet as soon as possible.

An adult dog that has no other medical conditions can usually go for 12-24 hours without eating as long as he is still drinking water and is alert.
