Why is my dog not eating and barking more after rabies shot?

Raw meat could be making her sick. Don't give her raw food or bones. if you can, get her a high quality puppy food. If she is bright and happy and eating and pooping she could be having a growth spurt and that is why she is thin. If she is letgargic or not eating or vomiting then get her to a vet.

This is a quite generic but concerning sign. Differentials are many, from gastrointestinal diseases (infection/inflammations often dietary related) to any disease that can spread systemically (causing lethargy for example) like infection, and anything that can cause pain/discomfort. The approach must be logic, starting from offering different kind of food. A check up is needed if inappetence last for more than 24hours. Sometimes vaccines can cause dogs to feel a bit groggy, a bit like a person getting their inoculations. However it doesn't tend to be that pronounced. Dogs are very sensitive to new environments and stress so so wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it is down to the changes occurring. Whilst he is eating and drinking normally I wouldn't worry too much. However if he deteriorates or dies not return to his usual self in a few days it would be best to get him examined.

She could just be worn out but since you said she isn't very responsive, I would recommend to take her to the vet. The vet may want to run some blood work on her to ensure she didn't get into any toxins or poison while she was missing. If she vomited 6 times last night than you need to call your vet and give him/her an update. Your vet may want to see your dog again today for a recheck. She might need subcutaneous fluids again and/or an anti-vomiting medications. Hope our dog feels better soon!

I'm sorry Dory isn't doing well at the moment. I don't suspect that her symptoms are related to her getting her vaccines because she received them a week ago. I would expect to see any ill effects to have occurred much sooner. It could be that she is painful for some reason, and arthritis could be a cause. Arthritis can be common in middle aged dogs, and would lead to a reluctance to jump, go up or down stairs, and walk stiffly. Pain also reduces appetite. Give your vet a call in the morning to make an appointment. The vet can diagnose if she is in pain, what's causing it, and can prescribe her pain medications. Please do not give her any human ones, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. Rest her tonight, take her out to potty on a leash and bring her right back in when she's done. It might related to the rabies shot but it might also be a coincidence. as it's been a week now i would advise taking her to the vet, she will require medical treatment in order to make the diarrhea stop.
