My puppy is licking a spot. Is it a yeast or fungal infection?

This could be an allergic reaction, a skin infection (bacterial or yeast) or even a skin tumor. You should have it examined by your veterinarian, as it is not possible to distinguish these by just looking at a photo. An bacterial skin infection can usually be treated with antibiotics , a fungal infection (yeast) with a fungicidal medicine. To identify a tumor, your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the area in question with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether this is concerning.

Many yeast and or fungal infections can take a while to improve. Veterinarians often start with topical therapy and often that is all that is needed. However, if the area is larger, not improving, bleeding, or otherwise seems worse than sometimes oral anti fungal medications and sometimes a cone to keep them from licking are important nest steps. The most likely cause would be a secondary bacterial or yeast infection secondary to allergies give your description. A bad odor is usually associated with overgrowth of bacteria or yeast and requires veterinary exam in order to get the appropriate medications to treat the overgrowth and also to get medication to get the inflammation under control. Until you get an appointment with your vet you should put an e-collar on her so she doesn't further traumatize the feet.

You should try and bath Diamond in an oatmeal soothing shampoo for dogs (the shampoos are available over-the-counter at pet shops, local vets or online). However, if it does not help and Diamond keeps licking herself, you will have to take her to your local vets to get anti-allergic treatment in form of injections or tablets.

The e collar is key to preventing licking, so great to hear you are taking such good care of her! New advances are being made in the allergy world for our pups as well. Things like Apoquel and cytopoint (an oral and an injection, respectively) are now available for our pets and have made a WORLD of difference for many of my clients. If you have not discussed this with your veterinarian-it's time! Why're great. For the sore areas-until you can get her in to be seen-you can apply triple antibiotic ointment twice daily to deter further bacterial infections, just make sure she cannot lick any of it off. Only your vet can make the decision if it is acceptable or not to use Fluconazole with cetrizine with Bruno. Cetrizine is an antihistamine which is primarily used in humans, so it would be considered off label use in dogs. Because of this, only a vet who has a client patient relationship can safe if it is okay to use in a particular animal, and that is impossible to achieve this relationship via an internet forum. I recommend taking Bruno into the vet to discuss the use of these drugs together.
