You could mix some wet and dry together to see if that helps him eat more. Also, have your vet test a stool sample for parasites to make sure he doesn't have any, especially if he starts losing weight or has any vomiting or diarrhea. If his body score is normal than he is probably getting enough calories and nutrients. You could bathe him with a moisturizing dog shampoo and see if that helps his skin. These red/flakey patches often occur due to a bacterial or fungal infection. It's also possible that this is due to ringworm (a fungal infection). It's best to get it diagnosed by a veterinarian, because ringworm can spread to different parts of the body and can spread to people. Also, the more involved the infection, the longer it will take to clear. For now, I recommend washing your hands anytime you touch Lucky. I recommend cleaning his belly with a medicated wipe or shampoo (can get this at the pet store) once a day until the skin appears normal. If it seems to get worse, or not better within a week, then you'll want to take Lucky into the vet for an exam. Those spots could be normal skin changes for your dog, areas of chronic irritation such as from grass or laying on a rough surface, or rarely an auto immune disease. If they start increase in size, number, have any sort of redness or appear raw/ulcerated she get checked out by a veterinarian. Excessive scratching is often related to allergic problems and poor appetite is not specific for any disease. In fact, most of unwell dogs go off food. If she has eaten it before, she may be okay with the one feeding. If not, the sudden change may cause some gastrointestinal upset. Mozza may have some localized skin infection on her belly. It is fairly common in puppies. Monitor for spread or resolution. Keep the area clean and dry. This can be done using pet wipes or plain, unscented baby wipes. However, lumps and bumps that become red, inflamed, warm to the touch, itchy, have rough edges, are rapidly growing, or have discharge coming from them need to be looked at by a veterinarian and have them assessed. Regardless, I would recommend your veterinarian take a look at Chester and take small sample of the small mass he has and look at it under a microscope. Poor Tiny. Without seeing him, I cannot say for sure why his fur is changing colors or why he has a poor appetite. His fur could be changing due to age or chronic chewing/licking. If he has a skin infection or thyroid problems, this could also cause his fur to change. There are a number of reason than can cause them to have a decreased appetite. I would have your vet take a look to ensure there isn't something that needs treatment for both the skin and appetite. If he has always been a picky eater then I would be less concerned.
