Puppies will heal better than adult dogs, so the scar should be much less obvious within a couple of months. You will need to wait until the wound heals properly. You can put cod liver oil ointment, or Vitamin E ointment on the CLEAN wound area in order to help the skin regenerate. As for hair growth, time will tell, if there is any growth at all (it is possible that this will never grow back). You can feed Vitamin H (Biotin) to help with hair growth. This will also help with hoof quality.

Unfortunately there isn't anything that can help the fur to regrow. You can try some omega 3 fatty acids or fish oil. If the hairloss hasn't been seen by a vet recently I would have your vet take a look at it to ensure it isn't a thyroid problem or something else.
