My dog has fluid-filled lumps but acts normal. Is it a hematoma? Vet?

Sometimes in addition to benadryl these dogs do also need steroids, so I would call your vet and let them know about this change because they may want to see her again or to change her medication. I would also consider bathing her in case the hives were a reaction to a plant she came into contact with if she spends time outdoors.

Insect stings, spider bites, drug reaction, extreme food reaction are among some things this could be. She will probably need some steroids to try to get this under control. In order to make a observation of diagnosis, I would have to have a much closer look at Layla's eyes under a light. What I can observe is swelling of the eyelids, both upper and lower on both sides. An allergic reaction can certainly cause that to occur. Conjunctivitis might be a follow up to the allergic reaction due to rubbing of the eyes. If this is an allergic reaction, benadryl can sometimes get matters under control. Other times, a steroid is required to reduce the body's inflammation both locally and systemically. You can take a wait and see approach if you'd like, but if those eyes swelled up suddenly I would be more inclined to have her seen right away. Hope this makes sense

I would have this lump on Laila checked out by a vet first. While it could be a cyst, there is always a chance it could be something more serious like a malignant tumor (although the chances are low in a young dog). It's also important to have any lump checked out by a vet to make sure it isn't something concerning. Should it be a cyst, an antibiotic ointment will not do anything for it, and I would only recommend warm compresses and cleaning it if the cyst was opened and draining. Do not try to pop it! Typically you can leave these cysts alone as long as it isn't bothering your dog and isn't getting bigger. First step is to have it definitively diagnosed by a vet, so I would give her vet a call for an appointment. Best of luck, I hope this helps!

I see what you mean about the bumps on Lola! It looks like she could have hives, and that can be caused by an allergic reaction. I do recommend a visit to the ER vet now, as allergic reactions can quickly progress and cause serious problems such as respiratory distress. Poor baby! Yes, these appear to be hives most likely from an allergic reaction. I would give her 50mg benadryl by mouth and see how she does. If she gets more, starts vomiting, having diarrhea, or trouble breathing I would get her right away. Good luck. She is adorable

I would be concerned that Layla has an abscess if it is filled with pus and blood. this will be very painful to her, and she needs to see a vet as soon as possible for it. She will need it drained if it has swollen up again, and she will also need antibiotics to treat the infection. Please do not give her any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. The vet can give her pain medications as needed. As for the swollen vaginal area, she could be suffering from vaginitis which is inflammation of the vagina. This is more common in spayed females, and something that will need to be examined and treated by a vet as well.
