My dog has dirty eyes and is unwell after flea treatment. Fever?

Best take him to a veterinarian tomorrow as he will need a blood test and medication for about 3-4 weeks again against the babesia. There is nothing you can do tonight until you take him to the vet. He should be fine. Should his temperature go to 40C or above you need to take him to a vet tonight, either an out of hours service or a pet ER.

A fever is possible. You can take a rectal temperature. He may a fever if it is over 102. If he has a fever, it should be checked out by a vet. There are no recommend at home treatments for fever in dogs that are safe. Do not attempt to cool him since you can easily make puppies hypothermic. Either way, I would recommend that he get checked out by a vet to see if there is a possible reaction to his current ringworm treatment.

I'm sorry Holly is so sick! A dog's temperature is normally 101-102.5, so she doesn't have a fever. If you have removed a lot of ticks from her in the past, her symptoms of being very tired, sore, and not wanting to move can be indicative of a tick born disease such as Lyme disease. I would have her seen by a vet right away. The vet can diagnose if she does have lyme disease, another tick borne disease, or something else causing her symptoms and can treat her for it. If she did have Lyme disease, for example, it can be treated with a course of doxycycline.

If you feel she is worsening despite medication I recommend a veterinary visit. Do not give any human fever reducers as they are toxic to dogs. It sounds like from your description that Doc Brown is sick, and I would be thinking that he could be suffering from a respiratory infection or allergies. Feeling sick would lead him to be more irritable as well, and it is possible he could have a fever. A dog's normal temperature is 101-102.5F, and anything above 102.5F is a fever.
