My dog eats cat poop, sneezes, and has a rash. What's the cause?

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Vomiting several times a day for a week along with not eating or drinking much is certainly concerning. The sneezing could indicate a respiratory infection. There are lots of health reasons for her symptoms and Lilly really should see her veterinarian as soon as possible to have her evaluated and treated. Your veterinarian will do an exam and may recommend additional testing such as blood work or x-rays to pin down a cause so Lilly can get the treatment she needs and start to feel better.

Poor Echo! There could be a couple of things going on with him. He could have a respiratory disease or allergies causing the sneezing. The runny poop could be due to intestinal worms, a GI illness, eating something rotten, or a foreign body. Given he has a couple of things going wrong, I would have him seen by a vet in the morning. The vet can diagnose the cause of his symptoms, and can treat him for it. I hope this helps!

This sounds like Nala is very ill. I would be worried there is an obstruction causing her to vomit or aspirate (leading to the sneezing) or an underlying illness causing GI upset. Since she has vomited so much in such a short period of time, it would be best to seek veterinary care in person right away.

As Annie is having nasal discharge now with her sneezing, I would recommend she be evaluated by her regular veterinarian, as she may have an infection or some other underlying condition that would need to be treated in order to resolve it. I recommend to take your puppy in to have an exam. Although something like a cold or a virus is a very common cause of sneezing, if you notice it more after eating or drinking that can be suspicious for a cleft palate. The doctor needs to take a good look inside her mouth and make sure that her hard palate appears normal. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions!

Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. Sneezing can definitely be due to allergies and that is probably the most common reason. Some medications for allergies can be started for this to be used on an as needed basis. If her diarrhea or sneezing persist, I recommend that you have Irie evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
