My dog's diarrhea stopped, and her stool is normal. Is she okay?

I am glad honey is feeling better. It looks like honeys poop is solid and is no longer having diarrhea. It is hard to tell in the pictures but there might be a little mucous. I would make sure a fecal exam has been completed to make sure coco does not have parasites.

The signs seems settling so I would not be extremely concerned at this stage. As a first approach, I would suggest to start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. IF she was suffering from diarrhea for a long time before you stopped the Atopica then yes, it is normal, it can take several weeks for the condition to resolve, discuss with your vet regarding some probiotic products to try and help with the recovery.

Yes, this can be normal after extended episodes of diarrhea. The bland diet is highly digestible and will produce less stool than the regular diet. Once the stool is normal and the slow transition to his regular diet progresses, you should see his bathroom habits return to normal.

I'm so glad that Tinny Bubbles is starting to feel better and not having any more vomiting or diarrhea. Often after a dog has had diarrhea, it will take a while for their stool to build up again, so they often won't have any stool for up to 48 hours once they have been treated. I am very sorry to hear that Lelani has been so unwell. It sounds as though she is on a great treatment Plan. It can be normal for some constipation to follow a gastrointestinal upset. I would continue to monitor her at home for a few hours. If by the end of the day she still hasn't had a bowel movement, or if she seems in pain or lethargic I Would take her back into the veterinarian. The concern is for a foegein body obstruction. But because she seems happy and active it is less likely.
