Why is my Boxer breathing hard, not eating, and drinking a lot?

Poor Ruka sounds very ill at the moment. Anorexia (not eating) is a very general sign of many illnesses, which could be caused by dental problems, systemic illness, infection, inflammation, or injury. She could have have a hard time breathing because she has a respiratory infection or cardiac disease. Being quite sick would lead her to seem very weak. I strongly recommend a vet visit as soon as possible for her. The vet can diagnose what is causing her symptoms, and can treat her for it. Best of luck, I hope this helps!

If she was vaccinated as a puppy, then it would be very unlikely for a dog this age to get distemper. However, what you are describing is concerning. Labored breath along with vomiting can indicate a severe disease that is affecting her heart and/or lungs. Either way, they are both emergencies, because these situations have the potential to be life-threatening if not treated soon enough. I recommend taking her to the emergency vet for this, because it may be too long to wait until normal business hours. The vets will be able to assess the severity of the problem, hopefully find the cause and give her the necessary treatment. I hope that helps and Kate gets better soon.

Severe viral infection or congenital severe underlying heart disease could be responsible for the signs described. Ultrasound and ECG of the heart would be needed to confirm this clinical suspicion (of heart disease).

What you are describing is a combination of weakness, and pain, along with some underlying disease. The bleeding can be due to a severe gastritis that is causing the lining of his gut to slough out (HGE or Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis), a ruptured tumor, rat bait toxicity, or other causes. I strongly recommend you have Taz seen by a vet right away. Best of luck with Taz.

If her breathing looks labored (fast and difficult to breath usually with abdominal effort and sometimes a stretched neck) then this is an emergency. I would take her to your nearest emergency clinic. If the fast breathing is more of a pant with minimal effort then it might not be a huge issue. I would watch her closely to see if the panting is at appropriate times like after getting excited or coming in from outside or seeing new people as panting is a normal response to these type of events. If not, then I would definitely have your vet look at her. If the panting continues or if you are unsure whether she is labored breathing then I would have your vet look at her. Your vet will be able to listen to her heart and lungs and even doing chest X-rays if needed. I hope this helps!

Poor Jasmine! These symptoms are pretty generalized so it is difficult to speculate on why Jasmine isn't feeling well; lethargy and a decreased appetite could indicate nearly any medical problem. It is the heavy breathing that has me the most concerned. This could indicate a number of serious issues such as a heart condition, ruptured mass, pneumonia, or severe pain. I recommend having Jasmine seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
