My American Bully is bloated with solid stool. Is it an emergency?

If she is resting quietly, not vomiting, and having no breathing issues then she is probably fine for you to just monitor her now. I strongly suggest you don't feed her anything for 24 hours but make sure she has plenty of water available to drink. If she is having any troubles then she needs to go to the emergency vet. The passing of bowel motions is positive, as is the fact she is willing to drink water. If she begins vomiting, especially empty retching you will need to source emergency care for her but otherwise report to your regular vet in the morning. A probiotic supplement will help restore gut balance once the over indulgence has passed

Oh no, poor Goober! If he had bloat, his entire abdomen would be swollen, he would be restless, anxious, unproductive vomiting, and would be looking at his abdomen a lot. I would suspect that he may have an umbilical hernia, which is not a medical emergency. At this point in time, given that he is drinking and eating with no problems, he's calm, and he's not vomiting, there's no need to rush him into the vet. Waiting until Monday will be fine. If you do see any of the signs of bloat that I mentioned above, then yes you need to rush him into a vet right away. I hope this helps!

Hi, if he seems restless and in pain I would take him sooner rather than later. If he is able to sleep/curl up and the gurgling noise seems to be the only problem, I think you can wait until the morning.

As long as Harley is comfortable and does not show signs of weakness, panting, discomfort you can monitor him at home. However, if his abdomen becomes very bloated and your puppy becomes weak and subdued, you should take him to your local vets as an emergency. Dogs which are fed large meals once daily are at higher risk of developing GDV, so it will be better if Harley gets fed smaller meals twice a day.

She is probably suffering from a severe bloat, you MUST take her to the emergencies URGENTLY as GDV is one of the main options and it is a condition that will kill your dog within 2-4 hours if it is left untreated.

Poor Chaca! It's very concerning when I hear of a dog that has sudden bloat and a hard belly, not to mention an abnormal stomach. She could have bloat, which is a fatal condition without treatment. I would have Chaca seen by a vet immediately for this, as it is a medical emergency.
