My dog barks constantly and licks urine. How can I stop him?

The behavior you are talking about is likely Oliver trying to establish dominance over the other 2 dogs. I would recommend neutering Oliver to see if this helps reduce this behavior. You can also try the Adaptil products and see if this helps to reduce the behavior. Adaptil products can be found online or at your local PetCo. To deter him from barking, I recommend using a spray bottle and spritzing him in the face every time he barks. You can also use citronella spray collars that are triggered by barking and then emit a fine mist of citronella oil in front of the face. The citronella collar can be found online as well. Inappropriate urination occurs when a dog regresses to urinating inside the house. This behavior is more common in male dogs that have not been neutered, although it can occur in non-neutered dogs and cats. The first thing to rule out is inappropriate urination that occurs when there is an underlying health problem which is causing a dog to urinate inside the house. It may have lost control of the muscles in its bladder or sphincter, or there may be an infection (UTI) or other condition as drinking too much (seen in many medical conditions) that is making it difficult for the dog to hold it in long enough to get outside. When a medical caused has been ruled out we can think about the second type of inappropriate urination which is behavioral (such as marking). Has he always done this, or is it a new behavior? Had he been sleeping through the night at any time? The fact that he is continuing to bark, even after he's been out, tells me one of two things: either there's a sound (that you may not even be able to hear) that is disturbing or exciting him, or he has you trained to get up when he barks. To a dog who is seeking attention, any attention, even negative (such as shouting at him) is satisfying. If you are sure his bathroom needs have been met, try ignoring Wish. Do not respond in any way to his barking. Understand that, since you have reacted before, he will probably up the ante and bark more, or louder, to get the response he is used to. Don't give in!!! That will just make it harder to correct. After a few days to a week, when his behavior is not getting the desired result, he will stop. I would recommend going back to basics with Tiny's house-training, just like you would with a new puppy - this means that he needs to be supervised at all times, or confined to a crate or a single dog-proofed room when you aren't home or can't watch him. Make sure to reward him with a treat every time he uses his pee pads. You will also need to change the soiled pee pad promptly after your female dog uses it, to prevent him from licking the urine.

The first thing I would do is neuter him. An unneutered male can’t help but want to mark his territory. Unfortunately, he is 4 years old so this may have become a learned behavior meaning he may continue to do it after he is neuter. There is no guarantee he will stop. If I were you I would neuter him and while he is at the vet I would steam clean and deodorize every where he likes to mark. This is the best chance to help him stop this behavior. I hope this helps!

I would recommend neutering Choco. This may be behavioral. I would also check blood work on him to make sure that his kidneys are functioning properly. After checking his blood work and neutering him then I would recommend crate training Choco. This means leaving Choco in a cage when you cannot 100% watch him. Poor Ice! This excessive licking of his penis and the dripping of urine can be a sing of a medical problem such as a UTI or bladder stones. I recommend taking him into a vet today for a physical exam, blood tests, and urinalysis.
