My dog was attacked, isn't walking, screams. Is she seriously hurt?

However, this could also be a fracture which can be very painful. It seems like she is in pain so it would be best to have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Poor Dutchess. She could have seriously injured her leg - bones or soft tissue. I would definitely have her seen by your vet as soon as possible to determine what is causing her to be in so much pain. Your vet will be able to take x-rays if needed and get her started on the proper meds and treatment to help her feel better and heal. I do not recommend to give any human pain meds as most of these are toxic to dogs. I hope this helps and she starts to feel better really soon!

You should get your dog to a vet immediately for a thorough examination as there may have been some serious damage done that is not obvious. Hopefully not and it is just the development of some muscle pain etc but at the very least the vet will be able to give some pain relief, alongside peace of mind.

She may have a herniated disc in her back causing the paralysis, or some other neurologic problem affecting her spinal cord. She may be in pain, or she may have no feeling at all in her rear legs - it's impossible to say without an exam. She needs immediate treatment to have a reasonable chance of regaining function in her rear legs, I'm afraid there's nothing you can do at home that will help her. This sounds like she may have injured her back which is very serious and needs immediate veterinary attention. If she isn’t using her rear legs this may be temporary or if the nerves have been damaged she could become permanently paralyzed. Please take her in the treatment right away. They will give medication for the pain and to reduce the inflammation around the nerves. Dogs can rupture a disc in their back and may need surgery to relieve the pressure so they can walk again. Your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian today for wound control, possibly an x-ray to determine whether there is a joint problem. If wounds are found (small puncture wounds, for example, your dog will need antibiotics. I hope your dog is up to date on his rabies vaccination.

Poor Paco. Yes take him into a vet immediately. If he won't put pressure on his leg, he's in a lot of pain and unfortunately there are no pain relievers you can give him. Many human ones are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. I'd take him into a vet now. I hope this helps!
