Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Anytime there is concern for ingestion of foreign material, it is best to proceed with a veterinary evaluation as foreign material ingestion can lead to obstruction which sometimes requires therapy. This can go anywhere from induction of vomiting and fluid therapy all the way to surgery in cases of a complete obstruction. I think it would be best to have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a great day!
