My dog ate gingerbread. Should I worry about toxicity or upset tummy?

I would not be concerned if Dani only ate one bite of a lemon poppyseed muffin. Please monitor GI upset like vomiting and diarrhea and if these occur you may offer a bland diet of boiled chicken and sweet potato or rice. If vomiting or diarrhea does occur and is severe you may need to have Dani examined to see if medication is needed. Again, I think it's highly unlikely Dani will become sick but do suggest monitoring her for the next day or so to ensure she doesn't get mild stomach upset.
