As long as the granola didn't contain chocolate, macadamia nuts or raisins I wouldn't be concerned about toxicity. This could cause some upset stomach however, and since granola can be high in fat you could see pancreatitis develop. I would guess that cardboard would be digested, but if there was any plastic then there could be concern for an obstruction as well. Hello, sorry to hear about Marshall. The biggest ingredient of concern is the grape seed oil. Grapes are known toxins to dogs, causing kidney disease. I am unsure if the grape seed oil could cause the same toxicity as the whole grape, since the exact mechanism by which grapes cause kidney disease is not fully understood. Therefore, Marshall should have his kidney values monitored by your veterinarian for the next 72 hours as a precautionary step. It’s likely that the oils could have caused him some nausea, and if he ingested a large amount of this then he could have a bit of an upset stomach. Alternatively, he could have been drooling for some other benign reason and perhaps there is nothing wrong with him. Monitor for any vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, or diarrhea and have him seen by a veterinarian if you note any. Hope this helps and best of luck!

I think the worst that will happen is some mild GI upset like vomiting and/or diarrhea - both of which should be self-limiting (meaning they should go away on their own within 48 hours). If they don't, then he needs to see a vet. He may be more tired than normal but not comatose so if he is sleeping and you can't get a reaction out of him then you need to get him to a vet ASAP. I recommend no food for 8-12 hours but be sure he has plenty of water available. These treats don't really contain anything toxic at large doses but remember, every dog reacts differently to medications/supplements just like people so if, at any time, you are worried about him you need to have him examined by a vet.

Bisacodyl (Dulcolax) is often used as a laxative for dogs, so there should be no problem other than soft stool, maybe some loose stool. Side effects such as cramps, nausea and diarrhea are common, especially if your dog takes other medications. However these should pass relatively quickly.
