My 7-week American Bully has bumps with black hair. What are they?

These bumps on Snoopy could be warts or another type of benign tumor. There is a chance they could be malignant, but it's not very likely in a dog his age. Any suspicious bumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the bump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I would have Snoopy seen by a vet in the next few days to have these bumps examined and diagnosed so they can be treated as needed.

Thanks for the image. That could be an area of trauma or irritation. It may also be some localized infection (bacterial or fungal) or maybe a papillomatous growth (wart). If he is licking or chewing at the area, place an e-collar (cone) on him and schedule an exam with your veterinarian. If the spot is not bothering him and he is behaving normally otherwise, you can choose to monitor it at home for rapid change or growth, bleeding, discharge or discomfort. Should any of these symptoms develop, an exam with your veterinarian would be required to definitively diagnose the underlying cause. Any treatment will depend on the diagnosis.

Another option would be an allergic reaction. I really think you should have a vet check him out to be on the safe side. I do recommend all abnormal growths be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine if they are malignant (cancerous) or benign. This distinction would determine a treatment plan as to whether or not surgical removal may be necessary. From the picture you posted, the black marks under his skin appear to be normal epithelial pigmentation, but if you are concerned I would have your veterinarian see those as well. Good luck!

These look like they could be papules from a skin infection, or it’s possible that they are tick or other insect bites. If Hoss seems itchy or more spots develop I’d recommend seeing your veterinarian for an exam. Otherwise I think you could monitor the areas for up to 7 days, but if they don’t resolve you should make an appointment with your vet.

This is very tiny and probably nothing but i can't tell you what it is at this point and without testing it. monitor it over several weeks, if it continues growing take him to the vet in order to get it checked.

An infection could cause bumps and hair loss. A common cause of skin infections in young pit bulls is mange (demodex). These are microscopic mites that don’t cause scratching. I recommend taking Nohea to a vet for a close exam of her skin. They will need to look at cells under the microscope to diagnose this.
