My dog had two litters, but is still active. Is she healthy?

I'm not sure I understand your question but that is great that she has lost the excess weight! Good job!!!! Wow! That is unusual but hopefully everyone is doing well! As a veterinarian it is my duty to recommend the safest plan, which would be to have her evaluated by a veterinarian and an x-ray to make sure she does not have any more retained fetuses. Hopefully everyone is nursing well and mom is feeling good and eating well. I recommend weighing the pups daily to make sure they are gaining weight and thriving. Hello, it looks like your question cut off after 'getting old and before'. Killing puppies is very abnormal and may indicate either extremely poor mothering skills or even a mental disorder. I do not recommend to breed Tash again or you are likely to see that she kills all the puppies again and it is unfair to bring them into the world only to have this happen. I recommend to have Tash spayed or to keep her safely confined and kept away from any males during her estrus. Even if she is getting older, I still would not breed her. I hope this helps.

Is she having symptoms that are concerning/out of the ordinary for her? I think that is too many litters and would be hard on the dog to recover. A female shouldn't be bred until two years old and I recommend hip X-rays before breeding as many labradoodles develop hip dysplasia. Then she should only have a maximum of one litter a year. To get four litters before she's four years old she would need to be bred at the first or second heat and every heat as soon as the pups are gone. This would increase the risk of mammary cancer, uterine infections and you wouldn't have much time to enjoy a dog with her being pregnant or nursing the puppies all the time. Personally you'd be better off purchasing a dog of your own that you can raise and train yourself and enjoy the entire time.
