My pregnant cat is meowing, leaking, affectionate. Are kittens due?

She's due very soon, as cats gestation period is generally 58-64 days give or take. Their uterus is actually V-shaped, and each horn can lie along either side of her belly. Once she has weaned this litter of kittens, I strongly recommend getting her spayed to prevent further litters and a number of health problems that are more likely to occur if she is not spayed.

Cats are pregnant for about 60 days. You will start to. It’s e her mammary glands fill with milk around the 7th week of pregnancy. Their temperature will drop when it gets within 48 hours of labor and their appetite can decrease then. It is not uncommon to see a clear mucous discharge in the urine around a week before labor. Without knowing when she was in heat and bred these signs are the best guide to let you know about delivery.

She does look quite full! She should be pregnant for 64 days and will start making milk after the kittens come. The only way to know for sure how many kittens are in there would be an x-ray at the vet. Good luck with the the babies!!

The nipples will turn pink a few weeks before delivery, so if they only turned pink now there is no reason to panik yet. She now is approximately three weeks pregnant. A cat's gestation period is 63 -65 days, so she will have her kittens in about 42 to 45 days from now.

She is likely pregnant and I would expect some kittens within the next couple of months. Taking care of a pregnant cat and kittens is costly and time-consuming, so if you happen to not be willing/able to care for and adopt-out kittens, then I would consider getting her spayed sometime soon. For more information about caring for kittens, I recommend reading the articles at the links below. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/pregnancy-and-parturition-in-cats https://www.petcoach.co/article/new-kitten-101/ I hope that helps and all is well with Sheiva.

Yes, it is likely she is pregnant. The gestation time for cats is 58 days. Most cats have kittens without problems and nurse and raise them fine. Once she is done nursing you should have her spayed as she could get pregnant again right away. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Daisy.

I would take Pepsi into a vet immediately. A cat's pregnancy can last from 58-68 days, but if this end point is reached with no signs of kittens, then veterinary attention is needed. She needs evaluation from a vet to determine if she needs help with giving birth. Please take her into a vet now.
