It just may take time for her to accept it as a new house mate. You can rub the kitten down in her bedding or the other remaining kittens bedding. It is not uncommon for animals of the same sex to take longer to become friendly with one another than animals of the opposite sex. I find it to be more common in females than in males. They may see each other as competition for the male's attention. It may also be a simple territorial action that your established cat is making. I would consider perhaps a continued slow introduction to one another under your supervision. Cats be trained just as dogs (a little harder) with positive reinforcement. Unfortunately it is impossible for us to know if this is a type of play behavior or if this is related to prey drive since we cannot observe the behavior. Certainly an adult cat can seriously wound or even kill a nine week old kitten. I recommend to keep them separated until you are sure they get along and the kitten is bigger. You may do some research about cat behavior. You will need to look at the position of the head, mouth, ears, spine and how the fur is laying. That will give you a better idea of your adult cats intentions. You should also make sure to spend at least 30 minutes a day exercising the adult cat. It may take time for Lilly to accept your other cat even though she is the smaller new cat. Some cats just don't do well together so if this behavior continues or gets worse I would recommend either talking to a veterinary behaviorist (if there is one in your area) or considering finding someone who can provide Lilly a great life as an only cat.
