Why is my kitten vomiting yellow liquid from her nose and smells bad?

Vomiting can occur from many conditions such as foreign body ingestion and obstruction, pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have them evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. This will likely require bloodwork and abdominal imaging in terms of diagnostics. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least your veterinarian could start them on medications to make them feel better. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. Good luck and have a good day!

It may have been that the kittens were perfectly healthy the other day and now it sounds like the male is having symptoms of a upper respiratory viral infection with the sneezing. These viruses usually are self limiting and do not cause major illness. However, if he is not eating, continues to vomit, and/or is acting lethargic please have him rechecked as soon as you can.

If she is having upper respiratory signs associated with the inhalation of the water and the milk such as changes in breathing, difficulty swallowing, nasal discharge, weakness, loss of appetite or other changes, please take her into see her veterinarian soon as she may have developed pneumonia from aspirating the liquids. She may need a chest x-ray to confirm this and may need to be on antibiotics for a while. If she appears normal otherwise, just keep an eye on herald take her in if any of the above signs are witnessed.

It sounds as your cat is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Oh goodness. This is very concerning for a cleft palate. I would highly encourage you to reach out to the organization and have them schedule you an appointment with their veterinarian. I recommend getting your cat seen by your vet or an emergency vet right away. Cats need to eat, if they go more than a few days without eating they can develop serious liver problems which can be fatal. Continuous vomiting for so many hours is very exhausting and dehydrating, so your kitten likely needs some medical intervention to get better. Your vet will do an exam, labwork, possibly x-rays, and based on these results, your vet will have a better idea what is going on and can better advise you about treatment options.

Poor Minnie! It sounds like she is ill and I think it would be best to recheck with your vet. She could have an infection, parasite, endocrine disease, kidney disease, obstruction, etc. Your vet may need to run some lab work( CBC, chemistry profile, urinalysis, fecal test, T4, Felv/Fiv test) to help determine the cause of her problem. Once diagnosed, your vet can prescribe medications to help. She may need an antibiotic, anti-vomiting, gastrointestinal protectant, and other medications to help. If don't think stress would cause her to have projectile vomiting so please call your vet and have her examined again. Hope she gets better soon!
