My kitten's leg is swollen and limping. Can she still be spayed?

Your kitten's front leg actually looks swollen, so there could be a sprain or even a bite abscess. You should take your beautiful Ned to a veterinarian for an exam. this is painful, so pain medicine (specifically for cats) should also be given by the vet. If you cat goes outdoors, this is very likely the result of a cat bite. It is amazing how small a cat bite wound can be, but under the skin, infection is building up. It could be that Ballora has injured herself causing her to limp. She is showing you she is in pain by limping and not putting much weight on the leg. I would rest her for the next 24 hours. No running, jumping, or playing. Keep her confined to a small room or a large crate (with food, water, and litter box in it) to restrict her movement. If after this time she is still limping, take her into a vet asap. The vet can diagnose what is causing her pain, and can treat her for it. The vet can also prescribe pain medication for her. Tiny kittens like this can actually be treated with antibiotics when needed, so I would definitely recommend having the baby checked by a vet as soon as you can. He/she can prescribe antibiotics for the infection if needed, or even advise on other options such as amputation if the damage is severe. All of these require care by the veterinarian. At home you can restrict her activity since the more she walks on it, the worse it may get.
