My kitten drank beer and vomited. Should I take him to the vet?

It sounds that he ate something that irritated his throat, maybe he was bitten by an insect in the mouth or throat. The vomiting can be the result of an intestinal infection, a dietary intolerance or even an obstruction. Has he ingested in any foreign material such as a piece of a toy? If it has only been twice and this last time was only a small amount, then I would likely wait and see. If there is any further vomiting through the night then I recommend taking him in tomorrow. Our pets are very talented at eating things they are not supposed to without us knowing about it, so I never take for granted the possibility. There are many reasons for vomiting, and if it resolves on its own, then nothing further is necessary.

When a young kitten has been vomiting for over 24 hours, it's time to see a vet immediately. The vet can diagnose what is causing her vomiting and how best to treat it. Time will tell with this one. Since she's eating, drinking, and not lethargic, you certainly don't need to seek emergency care tonight.
